A LIFELONG CONNECTION
Deeply Rooted In Plymouth
Hi, I’m State Representative Michelle Badger, and I’m proud to be running for re-election to continue serving the 1st Plymouth District — the community that raised me, shaped me, and means so much to me.
Throughout my first term on Beacon Hill, and my prior 13+ years on the Plymouth School Committee, I’ve focused on transparency, accessibility, and delivering real results — from bringing resources home for mental health and public safety to helping residents navigate everyday challenges like unemployment and healthcare.
My priorities are simple: keeping Plymouth affordable, expanding opportunity, and ensuring families, seniors, and young people alike can build their future right here at home.
I respectfully ask for your support so we can keep moving Plymouth forward together.

Dedicated to Our Community:
A Legacy of Action
I am running for re-election because Plymouth isn’t just home — it is deeply personal to me. I grew up here, attended Plymouth Public Schools, and learned the value of hard work and community from my family, teachers, and neighbors. Everything I do as your State Representative is grounded in that connection.
Before serving on Beacon Hill, I spent more than 13 years on the Plymouth School Committee, including two as Chair, where we expanded full-day kindergarten, invested in solar energy that saved over $6 million, and strengthened our schools for the next generation. That same focus on long-term, responsible leadership guides my work today.
When I first ran, I knocked on more than 9,000 doors and heard clearly that people wanted a representative who was accessible and responsive. That’s why I’ve made transparency a priority — holding weekly office hours, sharing regular updates, and helping residents navigate unemployment, healthcare, and government red tape.
Plymouth needs a seat at the table when decisions are being made. The issues we face are complex and require a leader who is energetic, pragmatic, and connected to the community. My service as State Representative and on the School Committee have proven my ability to work with all stakeholders to deliver results for Plymouth.
"Plymouth is rural, suburban, and urban all at once — and every resident deserves a voice in where we go next. I’m proud to serve this community, and I’m asking for your support so we can keep moving Plymouth forward together."
What We're Fighting For
AFFORDABILITY and Opportunity
HONEST & TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT
PRAGMATIC PROBLEM SOLVING
You should be able to afford to live and thrive in the community you love. Whether it is a young person looking for their first job or their first home, a family trying to make ends meet, or a senior on a fixed income, expenses are rising. Plymouth is a unique mix of rural, suburban, and urban, and I will continue to advocate for the resources we need.
Government can be complex. I'm here to help constituents navigate those complexities—whether it's reaching a state agency or getting an answer to a question. My roots in Plymouth run deep, and I'm committed to being the accessible and transparent leader our town deserves.
